The consultant will be responsible for configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Vertex tax solutions, with a particular focus on integrations across Financials, Procurement, Order Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. This role requires a combination of Oracle functional knowledge, Vertex configuration experience, and strong troubleshooting integration capabilities., * Design, configure, implement, enhance, and support integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Vertex tax platforms. * Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex tax-determination rules. * Support Oracle Fusion modules and business processes involving: + Financials + General Ledger + Accounts Payable + Accounts Receivable + Procurement + Order Management * Configure Vertex tax jurisdictions, tax rates, product taxability, customer exemptions, tax rules, and tax-calculation logic. * Support indirect-tax processes involving: + Sales and Use Tax + Value-Added Tax + Goods and Services Tax + Exemptions and exemption certificates + Tax accruals and adjustments + Tax reporting and compliance * Gather tax, finance, procurement, and order-management requirements and translate them into Oracle and Vertex configurations. * Design and support integrations using: + Oracle Integration Cloud + REST APIs + SOAP web services + FBDI file-based integrations + HDL or other applicable Oracle data-loading tools * Troubleshoot tax-calculation discrepancies and transaction-processing issues between Oracle Fusion and Vertex. * Analyze integration payloads, transaction logs, tax rules, jurisdiction assignments, and configuration dependencies. * Support tax calculations across sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, supplier invoices, returns, credits, and adjustments. * Develop functional and technical specifications, configuration documents, interface mappings, test scripts, and support procedures. * Lead or support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization. * Monitor production integrations and provide root-cause analysis and corrective actions for tax and transaction issues. * Recommend improvements to tax automation, system controls, integration monitoring, and operational processes. ## Related Videos - [Modern Headless Commerce with Vendure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/489-modern-headless-commerce-with-vendure) - [Are Classical Automation Frameworks Dead?
