## About the Role

Staff-Force is hiring a Computer Hardware Technician for a client in the San Antonio area. We are seeking candidates with strong knowledge of computer components who can disassemble, test, inspect, and sort electronic devices for recycling and resale., * High school diploma or GED required.

 * CompTIA A+, IT certifications, or related technical training is a plus.
 * Experience working with computer hardware and electronic components.
 * Ability to identify the value and functionality of computer parts.
 * Familiarity with testing tools and diagnostic software.
 * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to lift and move computer equipment safely.
 * Team-oriented with good communication skills.

## Description

* Disassemble computers and electronic devices for sorting and recycling.
 * Test and inspect computer components to determine functionality and condition.
 * Identify and evaluate components such as CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, RAM, and other hardware.
 * Sort materials for recycling and refurbishment.
 * Maintain accurate records of tested equipment and inventory.
 * Recommend products suitable for refurbishment or recycling.
 * Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.
 * Work closely with the production and recycling team.
