The Systems Engineer is a technical/engineering professional who performs system or enterprise level systems engineering across the life cycle on complex Space Systems acquisition processes. The SE provides expert advice and manages systems engineering processes and implementation for System Program Office (SPO)-developed collection system, including space vehicle, payloads, and associated ground command and control elements. Requires experience in multiple aspects of the program systems engineering life cycle to aid the customer's SPO in the acquisition, verification and validation, and initialization of current programs. The position includes requirements management, interface definition, customer engagement, and proposal technical evaluation support. The position requires a moderate level of knowledge in modern model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques in order to aid the customer's SPO in appropriately applying digital engineering to their next-generation program.
