## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 * 4-7+ years of software development experience.
 * 3+ years of experience hosting services within AWS cloud environments.
 * 3+ years of experience deploying and managing Kubernetes/EKS clusters.
 * Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, monitoring, or distributed tracing.
 * Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
 * Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Skills

Required:

 * Kubernetes
 * Amazon Web Services (AWS)
 * Terraform
 * OpenTelemetry
 * Java, Go, or comparable programming language

Preferred:

 * Datadog
 * Grafana
 * Python
 * Scala, * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
 * Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team setting.
 * Passion for building reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems.
 * Experience mentoring and supporting other engineers.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and platform services.
 * Build and support cloud-native solutions hosted in AWS.
 * Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes/EKS environments.
 * Improve system reliability, observability, monitoring, and performance.
 * Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform.
 * Collaborate with product teams, stakeholders, and engineers to deliver business-critical features.
 * Troubleshoot production issues and implement scalable solutions.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation.
 * Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
 * Participate in Agile development activities including planning, design reviews, and sprint execution.
