## About the Role

Client is seeking a hands-on Java Market Data Developer to support its Market Data Engineering and Development team, focused on building and enhancing real-time data platforms and integrations with leading market data vendors such as Bloomberg and LSEG/Refinitiv. Candidates must have strong experience with market data systems and vendor APIs (Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv) as well as Hands-on experience with real-time streaming and messaging technologies (Kafka, Solace, Tibco, etc.) Solid understanding of market data concepts (pricing, reference data, symbology, entitlements), * 10+ years of Java development experience in financial services

 * Strong experience with market data systems and vendor APIs (Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv)
 * Hands-on experience with real-time streaming and messaging technologies (Kafka, Solace, Tibco, etc.)
 * Solid understanding of market data concepts (pricing, reference data, symbology, entitlements)
 * Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems
 * Strong debugging and production support capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
 * Knowledge of FIX protocol or trading systems
 * Exposure to Python for scripting or data analysis
 * Familiarity with Linux environments and distributed systems

How many years working with: Real-time streaming and messaging technologies (Kafka, Solace, Tibco, etc.), Client is seeking a hands-on Java Market Data Developer to support its Market Data Engineering and Development team, focused on building and enhancing real-time data platforms and integrations with leading market data vendors such as Bloomberg and LSEG/Refinitiv., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based market data applications and services
 * Integrate and support vendor market data APIs (Bloomberg B-Pipe, Refinitiv Elektron, etc.)
 * Build real-time data ingestion, normalization, and distribution pipelines
 * Partner with trading, quant, and infrastructure teams to deliver low-latency data solutions
 * Troubleshoot production issues related to market data feeds, entitlements, and distribution
 * Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across market data platforms
 * Contribute to architecture and design of next-generation market data systems
