This role focuses on building and optimizing enterprise-scale business intelligence solutions using Databricks, SQL, and Power BI. The Senior BI Engineer will work across both backend data engineering and frontend reporting, partnering directly with stakeholders to translate complex business problems into actionable insights. This individual will serve as a technical leader, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the evolution of modern analytics capabilities, including automation and AI-enabled reporting. Day-to-Day: * Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports and datasets * Build and maintain SQL and Databricks solutions supporting BI use cases * Translate business questions into scalable analytics and reporting solutions * Optimize report performance using DAX and data modeling best practices * Support data validation, accuracy checks, and troubleshooting * Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and recommend solutions * Mentor BI Engineer IIs and contribute to technical design discussions * Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and code reviews * Support automation, governance, and security initiatives within the BI platform * Publish and maintain reports following established standards We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
