 - Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

 - DevSecOps test automation experience

 - Additional languages: C, Java, Python, Perl

 - Strong math/algorithms background

 - Agile/Scrum experience; familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)

 - Git experience in a Linux environment

## Description

Rylex is hiring an Intermediate to Senior Software Engineer to support a Ground Solutions and Mission Support (GSMS) Software Integrated Project Team on a major national security space program. You'll join a large, specialized team developing and sustaining mission operational software product lines and new capabilities for Next Generation Ground Systems and Ground Element Modernization, working 100% on-site in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in Redondo Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

 - Serve as a C++ software developer in a fast-paced Agile team using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) VMs, servers, and workstations

 - Design, code, and unit test new software capabilities per Mathematical Algorithm Requirements (MARs)

 - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Discrepancy Reports (DRs)

 - Collaborate with subject matter experts and senior engineers across multiple software subsystems
