## About the Role

Briviant Inc. seeks a reliable, detail-oriented Data Center and Mac IT Technician to support day-to-day data center activities and hands-on hardware build work. This role is ideal for someone with previous data center experience. This role is onsite at our Irvine, CA office., * Experience with computer hardware (Mac OS), servers, or IT infrastructure (professional, academic, or lab-based)

 * Previous experience working in a physical data center environment
 * Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~40-50 lbs)
 * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
 * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained

Preferred Qualifications

 * Prior experience in a data center, IT operations, or hardware build role
 * Familiarity with server components, rack systems, and structured cabling

## Description

Data Center Operations

 * Support daily data center operations, including monitoring equipment and responding to basic alerts or requests
 * Perform rack-and-stack of servers, network equipment, and related hardware
 * Assist with cable management (power and network) to maintain clean and organized racks
 * Conduct routine hardware checks and visual inspections
 * Support asset tracking, labeling, and inventory updates
 * Follow established safety, security, and change-management procedures

Build Technician / Hardware Support

 * Assemble, configure, and stage servers and related hardware components on Mac devices
 * Install and replace hardware components (e.g., drives, memory, power supplies)
 * Perform basic hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
 * Prepare systems for deployment, decommissioning, or return (including wiping and packaging)
 * Document build steps and issues according to internal standards
