## About the Role

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in microelectronics or SMT assembly.
 * Hands-on experience with SMT processes, AOI, X-Ray inspection, and microscope-based work preferred.
 * High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills & Qualifications

 * Experience operating SMT pick-and-place equipment (e.g., Mydata or similar).
 * Proficiency in microscope inspection and working with fine-pitch or small-scale components.
 * Familiarity with IPC-610 quality standards.
 * Ability to read and write in English.
 * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
 * Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail in a precision manufacturing environment.
 * Strong organizational and time management skills.
 * Work Environment
 * Cleanroom setting requiring use of smocks, gloves, and masks.
 * Work involves extended periods of microscope use and handling delicate, microscopic components.

## Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician with hands-on experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and advanced inspection techniques. This role involves working with very small, high-precision components in a cleanroom environment, supporting engineering builds and new product development. The ideal candidate is skilled in AOI, X-Ray inspection, microscope use, and thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing setting., * Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment, including pick-and-place systems, in accordance with documented work instructions.

 * Perform inspection of assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), X-Ray systems, and microscopes to ensure product quality and compliance.
 * Handle and assemble miniature and microelectronic components with a high degree of precision and care.
 * Interpret microcircuit layout drawings and engineering specifications to support accurate assembly and inspection processes.
 * Maintain strict attention to detail for both product quality and production documentation.
 * Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support product development, engineering builds, and process improvements.
 * Work from production schedules, process plans, and technical instructions to meet deadlines and priorities.
 * Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple tasks in a high-mix production environment.
 * Support and maintain 6S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
 * Follow all ESD protocols and cleanroom procedures to ensure product integrity.
