Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Competent understanding of the duties and responsibilities required of the System Engineer * Knowledge of principles and practices of management and supervision * Broad multi-discipline skillset with extensive in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, virtualization tools (VMWare) and performance tuning, including developing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing networking hardware, software, telecommunications, and related technologies * Demonstrated ability in project management, contract management, network recovery, and storage practices/policies * Ability to create and evaluate system proposals and articulate cost-benefit solutions * Detail-oriented and self-motivated, possessing strong judgment with excellent decision-making skills and excellent analytical/organization/time management skills * Effective interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel ## Description The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments. This role provides end-to-end ownership of network architecture with a strong focus on routing, switching, security, and availability. The Senior Network Engineer may supervise junior staff and provide technical leadership within the team.
