Identification & Cataloging * Identify, tag, and register all lab assets including: o Oscilloscopes o Signal generators o Logic analyzers o Network test equipment o Servers and workstations o DUTs (Devices Under Test) o Storage systems and peripherals * Perform asset inventory audits and reconciliation. * Maintain accurate asset records in ServiceNow (SNOW), CMDB, and inventory databases. * Apply RFID/barcode labeling and track asset lifecycle status. * Ensure compliance with company asset management standards. 2. Installation & Setup * Install and configure laboratory equipment and test benches. * Perform rack-and-stack activities for servers, networking equipment, and test systems. * Configure cabling, power distribution, and connectivity requirements. * Support workstation deployment, imaging, and setup activities. * Coordinate with engineers and vendors for equipment onboarding and commissioning. * Validate equipment functionality before handing over to engineering teams. 3. Calibration & Maintenance * Schedule and track equipment calibration activities. * Coordinate with approved vendors for annual and periodic calibrations. * Maintain calibration records and certificates. * Conduct preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime. * Perform health checks and routine inspections. * Ensure compliance with quality and audit requirements. 4. Usage Tracking & Scheduling * Manage laboratory equipment reservation and scheduling systems. * Track utilization of critical test assets. * Coordinate equipment allocation among engineering teams. * Generate utilization and capacity reports. * Support planning for future equipment procurement based on usage trends. * Maintain equipment availability calendars. 5. Performance Monitoring * Monitor operational health and status of lab equipment. * Track performance metrics and equipment reliability indicators. * Identify equipment degradation, abnormal behavior, or utilization bottlenecks. * Maintain dashboards and reports for lab operations. * Ensure compliance with lab operational standards and SLAs. * Support continuous improvement initiatives for lab efficiency. 6.
