If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and you're excited about contributing to the success of a groundbreaking Series C space startup, we'd love for you to apply., * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.

 * 4+ years working in an EMI/EMC related role.
 * Strong grasp of EMI first principles.
 * Project management; cross-dsciplinary application

Nice to Have

 * Experience with MIL-STD-461 and SMC-S-008.
 * Experience designing differential and common-mode EMI filters.
 * Experience writing software in Python, Rust or other for test automation.
 * Familiarity with high voltage DCDC converter topologies and relative impacts to EMI.
 * Familiarity with high-speed digital communications protocols and relative impacts to EMI.
 * Experience working with Altium Designer to design PCBAs.

## Description

In collaboration with Electrical Engineers, you will spearhead the EMC test campaigns for some of the highest power satellite architectures ever flown. You will own EMI test architecture, automation, and execution for all of K2's in-house designed electronics, not just ensuring compliance with existing standards, but pushing designs to the next level of EMI performance., * Define EMI/EMC test and compliance philosophy for K2 Avionics. Lead design of K2 EMC test infrastructure, developing the hardware and software to enable high-rate EMC development and production testing.

 * Work alongside electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to test for and correct EMI-susceptible and high emissions electrical designs.
 * Investigate novel EMI mitigation solutions at the systems, component, and materials levels.
 * Run test campaigns to generate launch provider and customer deliverables.
