## About the Role

Do you have experience in Spark?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in software development or similar

 * 1+ years of experience in data engineering and backend development
 * Strong skills in Python, Apache Kafka is a plus
 * Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash (ELK)
 * Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and APIs
 * Experience with production systems and troubleshooting
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
 * Comfortable working in English (Dutch is a plus)

Linux, Ansible, Apache Spark, Ruby on Rails

## Description

At Ivent Mobile, you'll work in a small, highly skilled team (20 people) building systems that process massive volumes of network telemetry from telecom and satellite infrastructures worldwide.

As a Data Engineer, you will design and build real-time data pipelines and streaming platforms that directly support mission-critical communication systems used across the globe.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, real impact, and real technical challenges.

What you'll do

 * Design and build scalable data pipelines (real-time & batch)
 * Work with streaming data (Kafka) and event-driven architectures
 * Process high-volume network telemetry and monitoring data
 * Integrate data via APIs from internal and external systems
 * Improve performance, reliability, and observability
 * Troubleshoot complex production issues
 * Contribute to data architecture and platform design
 * Support and coach junior engineers
