## About the Role

Ten (10) years of experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

## Description

* The Database Administrator maintains database integrity, security, availability, and compliance with business processes throughout the life cycle.
 * Knowledge in use of the following databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, Postgres
 * Performs disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring.
 * Evaluates and recommends database management system products. Performs database and application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage.
