## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or thermal dynamics.
 * A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in HVAC Systems.
 * Able and willing to travel domestically, up to 20% of the year.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
 * Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
 * Work independently with general supervision.

## Description

Conduct system calculation, product development activities and prepare test plans, analyze test data, and produce parts, designs, following standard work and design manual.

Schedule and Work Flexibility

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position operating during standard daytime business hours.

Upon the successful completion of the initial onboarding and training period, the Systems Engineer will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with the option to work remotely up to one day per week., * Participate in product development activities including engineering studies, feasibility studies, cost estimates.

 * Thermodynamic based modelling and optimization of chiller system design.
 * Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze and summarize test results to confirm product design performance, capability, and reliability.
 * Calibrate test data with modelling tools and prepare EDR to match test results.
 * Collaborate with EPL to prepare literature for production launch.
 * Collaborate with the compression/heat transfer/electrical/control team to integrate the components design into the chiller design.
 * Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production.
