Additional years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for education requirements. Required Experience and Skills: * This position supports a U.S. federal government program. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents and be able to successfully complete any required federal background investigation. * Minimum five (5) years of DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience utilizing Microsoft Azure. * Experience maintaining Appian installations in self-managed customer environments. * Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, CI/CD pipelines, build and release management), Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Azure Well-Architected Framework principles, and Azure administration. * Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep. * Experience with .NET/.NET Core development, including backend services, RESTful APIs, and enterprise application development. * Working experience administering JBoss, IIS, and Windows Server environments. * Experience with Git/GitHub source control and scripting/automation technologies. * Familiarity with NIST security control implementation and federal system security documentation requirements. * Strong troubleshooting, automation, and cloud operations skills. Preferred Skills: * Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500, or equivalent). * Experience supporting Appian deployments in Azure-hosted environments. * Prior experience supporting federal DevSecOps environments, including SBOM generation and secure software delivery requirements. * Experience implementing DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud modernization initiatives within enterprise environments. ## Description The DevSecOps/Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for the CI/CD pipeline, cloud infrastructure, and security posture supporting enterprise applications and services.
