Working Conditions: 90% Office environment 10% Machine/Fab shop

Training/Certifications: Engineering Graphics is a plus but not required. CSWA or CSWP a plus but not required.

Shift Time/Overtime: Day Shift 8am-5pm Overtime with approval.

## Description

The Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, analysis, and implementation of hydraulic systems, components, and drawings used in industrial equipment, fluid power applications, and custom-engineered solutions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective hydraulic solutions.

Responsibilities of the Design Engineer include, but are not limited to:

 * Design hydraulic power units, circuits, and fluid power systems.
 * Develop hydraulic schematics, layouts, and engineering drawings using CAD software.
 * Select and size pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators, filters, and related components.
 * Perform hydraulic calculations, flow analysis, and system performance evaluations.
 * Generate bills of materials and technical documentation.
 * Support testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Creating and revising models, drawings and bills of materials for rotating equipment parts and assemblies
 * Interfacing daily with Design Team members, Project Managers, and shop and Q.C. personnel.
