## About the Role

8+ years of iOS engineering experience (Swift AND Objective-C)

-Previous experience working in the streaming industry

-Proven experience architecting large-scale consumer-facing iOS applications

-Strong ability to balance hands-on coding with long-term architectural strategy

-Extensive experience establishing engineering standards and reviewing code across multiple teams (i.e. Pull Request (PR) or Code Review Request experience) -Experience developing App Intents to expose app functionality to system experiences such as Siri, Apple Intelligence, Shortcuts, Spotlight, Search, Widgets, Control Center controls, Action Button on iPhone, and Automations

-Experience working with a monorepo

## Description

Our customer in the streaming industry (sports) is in need of hiring (2) Sr. iOS Engineers to join 2 different teams; one will be focused on the their VIDEO ENGINEERING TEAM (i.e. doing more UI/dev work, etc.) and the other will be focused on the CLIENT PLATFORM TEAM (i.e. doing more architecture, setting coding standards, etc.)

-Architect and build scalable iOS platform capabilities that support video, streaming, and fan engagement experiences

-Design reusable frameworks, shared libraries, and platform components used across the iOS organizatio.

-Review pull requests for architecture, quality, maintainability, performance, and AI-generated code standards

-Establish engineering standards that ensure AI-assisted development produces high-quality, sustainable code

-Partner with Client Platform teams to modernize systems, improve developer productivity, and increase platform scalability.

-Lead migration efforts toward a monorepo architecture and shared development standards

-Drive automation initiatives across CI/CD, testing, QA, and release management

-Evaluate the AI readiness of applications, frameworks, and development workflows

-Refactor and evolve core platform capabilities, including personalization frameworks and design systems

-Mentor other team members/Engineers on architecture, platform design, code quality, and modern iOS development practices

-Build and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and engineering playbooks in markdown and other developer-facing formats

-Collaborate with Video Experience teams to deliver innovative experiences spanning iPhone, Apple TV, streaming, and interactive fan engagement
