Do you know your way around GIS, enjoy solving problems, and catch the details others miss? We're looking for a curious, dependable team player who can turn data into practical tools that help City Utilities work smarter., * Associate degree in GIS, Computer Science, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered

 * Three to six years of GIS experience
 * Experience with spatial data management and web mapping applications
 * Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
 * Valid Indiana driver's license if operating a City vehicle

Preferred Certifications

 * GIS training or certification

Technical Skills & Knowledge

 * ESRI ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online
 * Trimble Work Order Management or a similar system
 * Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
 * Power BI, SQL, Python, Arcade, APIs, or Model Builder

## Description

Support the GIS and work order systems used to manage utility assets, projects, maintenance, and daily operations., * Create and maintain GIS maps, dashboards, applications, and databases

 * Collect, update, analyze, and verify geographic and utility asset data
 * Support Trimble Work Order Management configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting
 * Work with engineering and operations teams to improve data, processes, and reporting
 * Assist with automation, system integrations, technical support, and user training
