**Published:** July 15, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=f1314cfe66476d80 ## About the Role This position requires working from our Orangeburg, NY offices Monday - Thursday, a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Information Technology field, and participation in a rotating on-call schedule., * Strong foundation in networking principles (LAN/WAN/WLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and a firm understanding of the OSI model. * Expertise in routing and switching, particularly with VLANs, Cisco, pfSense, Zywall, and Fortigate. * Experience in SAN deployments, storage layout configurations, and HA virtualization environments (Hyper-V, Microsoft Failover Clustering, System Center). * Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting. * Knowledge of AI and data science principles. * Soft Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, excellent oral and written communication, and a collaborative attitude. * Experience with Windows Server and Linux. * 5 years minimum experience in information technology, network, and server management., * Self-motivated, technology-oriented, and people-friendly. * Deep technical knowledge with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience. ## Description * Architecture Design: Develop and design modular, redundant, and scalable technology solutions that align with both internal and external (client) business objectives. * Design and implement complex data architectures, integrating network and system infrastructure with emphases on virtualization, containerization, distributed workloads, AI, and data science applications. * Advanced Knowledge in Specific Technologies: Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, virtualization platforms, enterprise networking, and big data architectures. * Bridge the gap between Development and Infrastructure as a core member of the DevOps team. * Lead technical projects and client onboarding, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies. * Install and configure network servers, operating system software, routers, switches, and cabling. * Respond to emergency work requests and provide internal technical escalation support. * Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve existing systems and architectures. * Custom Solution Development: Develop custom solutions to meet specific business needs, integrating off-the-shelf products with bespoke developments. * Participate in data center operations, including the deployment and modification of core hosting platforms. * Collaborate closely with Senior Solutions Architects and CTO in project scheduling, data center management, hardware provisioning, procurement, and licensing. ## Related Videos -
