## About the Role

Our client, a government agency specializing in information technology services, is seeking a Microsoft Help Desk Specialist to join their team. As a Microsoft Help Desk Specialist, you will be part of the IT support department supporting federal clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization., * Strong federal background with experience supporting government or military IT systems.

 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * 1-2 years of experience supporting software applications, preferably Microsoft-based.
 * Experience with Help Desk operations and troubleshooting Microsoft applications.
 * Ability to work up to 100% onsite in the National Capital Region with access to NIPR and SIPR networks.

## Description

* Manage end-user support for Microsoft-based applications and systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
 * Develop and refine standard operating procedures for ticketing and support workflows.
 * Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for operational improvements.
 * Serve as a Tier 1 and 2 support agent, escalating complex issues to program leadership as needed.
 * Maintain and update knowledge articles within the team's Wiki to ensure accurate and current support information., * Opportunity to work on impactful federal projects supporting national security and government operations.
 * Engage in continuous learning and professional development within a dynamic team environment.
 * Contribute to operational improvements and help shape support strategies.
 * Work in a collaborative environment that values diversity and inclusion.
 * Gain valuable experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
