## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
 * 5+ years of sales experience in a "hunter" role for a manufacturing business selling six-figure or greater opportunities to the Electrification & Industrial Systems industries
 * Record of consistently meeting and exceeding quotas
 * Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
 * Utilize Excel or CRM tools to record key metrics on opportunities and pipeline reporting
 * Excellent verbal and writing skills; Great computer skills

## Description

Collinwood is assisting our client, a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered sensing, control, and sealing components, in their efforts to hire a Business Development professional who will be focused on the Electrification & Industrial Systems industries. Our client's products are used in mission-critical systems across HVAC-R, data center infrastructure, appliances, transportation, industrial equipment, and aerospace.

We are seeking someone to support our client's growth strategy, expand their market presence, and understand how to create revenue by driving complex deals from the lead stage to contract execution. This role is ideal for a professional with a track record in scaling business operations in Electrification & Industrial Systems. The selected person will have a proven record of consistently meeting sales quotas.

What you will be doing:

 * Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies that align with company goals and revenue targets. Provide regular updates on progress toward meeting targets.
 * Market Intelligence and Expansion: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, identify new market opportunities, emerging industry trends, and strategic partnerships to drive growth in key regions and verticals.
 * Partnership Management: Forge and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including buyers, engineers, executives, and potential partners, to drive brand growth and revenue.
 * Revenue Generation: Administer pipeline development, lead generation, and sales processes, ensuring effective strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
 * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on growth initiatives and market positioning.
 * Performance Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, including pipeline health and progress toward revenue.
