Reporting to the IT Client Platform Engineering Manager in Spain, you will collaborate closely with our team lead in the US, enjoying full autonomy to build quality, maintainable code and shape our endpoint strategy., * Declarative over Imperative: We define the desired end state and let modern tools converge the device toward it, instead of running messy, one-off scripts. * Idempotency & State: Our automation runs repeatedly and safely, managing the actual state of the device at all times. * Cattle, Not Pets: When a machine drifts from our baseline, we wipe and redeploy from a code-defined source of truth rather than hand-nursing it. * Automation-First & Self-Service: If we have to do it twice, we script it. We build low-friction paths so engineers can focus on the platform., * Automate Everything: Implement provisioning, configuration, and patching workflows across the full device fleet (~90% macOS, ~10% Windows). * Code & Scripting: Write clean, reusable, and well-tested scripts to power our endpoint management platform. * MDM & Compliance: Enforce security baselines, track real-time fleet performance, and investigate compliance anomalies using modern MDM tools. * API Integrations: Connect platforms like Okta, Kandji/Iru, FleetDM, and Workspace ONE via APIs to streamline identity, access, and self-service IT workflows. * Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain idempotent automation pipelines for deployment and monitoring. ️ Our Stack * Device Management: Kandji/Iru, FleetDM, Workspace ONE * Identity & Access: Okta * IaC & Automation: Terraform, Ansible * Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell * Cloud & Version Control: AWS, GitLab ## Related Videos - [Improving quality with Agentic AI with Rovo Dev and Xray](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2005-improving-quality-with-agentic-ai-with-rovo-dev-and-xray) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Platform Engineering vs. DevOps Why not both?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/885-platform-engineering-vs-devops-why-not-both) - [Collaboration Quantified: Lessons from Open Source Developer Networks](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1422-collaboration-quantified-lessons-from-open-source-developer-networks) - [Git for Code Reviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/429-git-for-code-reviews) - [Enabling automated 1-click customer deployments with built-in quality and security](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/83-enabling-automated-1-click-customer-deployments-with-built-in-quality-and-security) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [Top-Paying Tech Jobs (with Salaries)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/372-top-paying-tech-jobs-with-salaries) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market)
