## About the Role

* Proven experience in a similar Backend Developer role.
 * Strong proficiency in Golang (required).
 * Experience with Java is a plus.
 * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
 * Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
 * Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
 * Experience with RESTful API development and backend architecture.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
 * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang.
 * Build and maintain robust APIs that integrate with our payment platform.
 * Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
 * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
 * Optimize existing applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
 * Contribute to the architecture and continuous improvement of our backend systems.
 * Troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
