Writing, testing, and reviewing clean, reusable code using OOP and functional programming principles. Understanding database design and interaction (SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of secure coding practices and ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities (OWASP). API design (REST/GraphQL), SDLC processes, and Operating Model (Desirable). Configuring CI/CD pipelines with YAML or tools like GitHub Actions/GitLab (Desirable, unless in DevOps-heavy role). ## Description * Testing, Quality assurance and CI/CD - building and maintaining units, integration and functional tests while applying TDD/BDD principles. * You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements and business needs into technical specifications. * You'll resolve complex technical issues, balance feature delivery with technical debt and ensure smooth deployments. You'll monitor performance, analyse logs/metrics and troubleshoot production issues while improving observability through better monitoring, logging and alerting. * You'll improve code efficiency, optimise database queries and enhance infrastructure performance to ensure scalability and responsiveness. * You'll maintain up to date and accurate documentation or systems, processes and APIs while contributing to shared knowledge bases.
