Reporting to the Technology Director, this role will lead the management and continuous improvement of our office IT environment across on-premises servers, networks, office infrastructure and end-user systems. The role also has direct line management responsibility for an IT Support Specialist, focusing on workflow oversight and personal development. This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-value, security-conscious environment, where reliability, system integrity and strong operational controls are critical. Key Responsibilities · Own and manage the company's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, office infrastructure and end user systems · Lead the day-to-day operation, performance and availability of all core systems and services · Manage and develop the IT Support Specialist · Manage and maintain local office infrastructure, including routers, switches, office Wi-Fi, CCTV and VoIP systems · Maintain and improve monitoring, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes · Oversee the hardware lifecycle for all end users, including laptop procurement, MDM provisioning, and secure on/offboarding · Work closely with Technology, Finance and Operations teams to support business-critical systems · Manage infrastructure upgrades, system improvements and technology projects · Create and maintain documentation for systems architecture, processes and infrastructure controls · Oversee patching, updates and system maintenance across infrastructure platforms · Manage relationships with external IT suppliers, hosting providers and technology partners · Support the business in maintaining compliance with relevant security standards and best practices · Identify risks, vulnerabilities and operational improvements across infrastructure and security controls, If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you.
