## About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent customer-facing skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in specialty chemicals or related industries, a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and the ability to support customers with innovative solutions that drive business growth., * Bachelors (required) or Masters (preferred) in Chemistry or related field

 * Strong understanding of chemistry and chemical interaction within the PCB manufacturing process
 * Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and periodically to accounts in North America Eastern Region
 * Six Sigma knowledge would be good but not required, company training available

 * Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of specialty chemicals, formulations, and application processes.
 * Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
 * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for customer interactions and reporting.
 * Project Management: Ability to manage technical projects and trials from start to finish.
 * Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing performance data and drawing actionable insights.
 * Digital Literacy: Familiarity with CRM systems, technical documentation tools, and Microsoft Office.

## Description

* Provides customers with on-site process expertise, chemical change implementation, monitoringand hands-on process control assistance for the manufacture of printed circuit boards
 * Understands and articulates PCB chemical functions and related process requirements tocustomers
 * Performs regular health checks and process audits for various production processes at customersites, generates reports and reviews with end users
 * Assists with regular lab testing functions/analysis with customer lab personnel and providestraining, when necessary, on best practice functions, tests and analysis.
 * Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and or process problems and provides hands-on supportto correct problems and optimize customer manufacturing processes.
 * Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies.
 * May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.
 * Coordinates daily activities with territory Account Manager and Business Director
 * Is an expert and steward for customer final product quality using MacDermid products
 * Identifies opportunities for growth at all customer locations
 * Assists with the monitoring and control of on-hand inventory at customer site
