## About the Role

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years of combined experience in at least 2 of the following areas:

-- Analog circuit design, analysis, and simulation

-- Digital circuit design, analysis, and simulation
-- Microprocessor and FPGA system design

-- Data acquisition and mixed system design

-- Ethernet and fiber optic communications interface design

-- Switching power supply design

-- Electromagnetic compatibility and standards compliance experience is a plus

-- Hands on experience with prototyping is a plus

-- PCB layout experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of one or more of the following:
-- Analog electronics industrial controls design
-- Digital and mixed signal electronics design

-- Industrial controls
-- 3-phase and electric power systems
-- Electric utility telecommunications

## Description

* Analyze, design, and develop conventional analog and digital circuits. Conduct moderate to complex design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness.
 * Develop hardware specifications and prepare system level specifications.
 * Write and analyze test plans, executes tests and evaluates test results for use at peer design reviews and project notebooks.
 * Prepare and maintain product documentation, including data sheets, instruction manuals, project notebooks, design and test documentation.
 * Provide and maintain accurate project plans. Manage and/or lead hardware projects of moderate complexity. Coordinate engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing.
 * Mentor and direct the efforts of engineers and technicians.
