 * Strong experience developing software with GoLang and Python, with knowledge of Java or Kotlin considered a bonus.
 * A solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, and modern CI/CD practices to deliver high-quality software with confidence.
 * Experience building and operating cloud-native applications within AWS, particularly using Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation.
 * Familiarity with serverless development frameworks such as Serverless Framework, AWS SAM, or AWS CDK, alongside development tools including GitHub, Maven, and Gradle.
 * A passion for innovation, with an interest in Generative AI-powered development tools and how they can improve engineering productivity, quality, and day-to-day workflows.

## Description

* Design, build, test, and deliver scalable software solutions that power Hive's smart home ecosystem and create real value for our customers.
 * Develop new cloud-native services and platform capabilities, contributing to technical designs and engineering decisions across the product lifecycle.
 * Take ownership of the services you build, supporting a "You build it, you run it" culture focused on reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
 * Collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders, sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and delivering high-quality solutions together.
 * Contribute to Agile delivery practices using GitHub and Scrumban, managing tasks effectively while maintaining clean, well-documented code.
 * Continuously enhance your skills and help modernise Hive's technology landscape, always keeping customer needs at the heart of every solution you create.
