 * DOD 8570 Certification Requirements: Comp TIA A+ CE / Comp TIA Network +CE

Mandatory Skills:

 * Cloud Architecture
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
 * Powershell
 * Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
 * Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
 * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects.
 * Python
 * Strong ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
 * Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
 * Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
 * Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
 * Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
 * Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
 * Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.

## Description

The Cloud Engineer will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

This job is to include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

 * Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud

 * Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

 * Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues.

 * Conducting risk assessments

 * Identifying technical requirements

 * Managing project timelines

 * Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment

 * Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration

 * Providing post-migration support and addressing any issues that arise.

 * Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures.

 * Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.

 * Implement security and compliance policies.

 * Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing.

 * Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
