* A B.S. and/or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 * 10+ years of related of related engineering or management experience.
 * Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines/technologies.
 * Demonstrated ability to design, produce and support successful products/processes.
 * The ability to manage product line/process problems requiring creativity, ingenuity, and guidance from manager.
 * Excellent leadership and mentorship skills and a strong desire to develop employees and lead projects.
 * The ability to define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems.
 * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
 * The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
 * The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment., * Familiarity with power utility practices.
 * Strong project management knowledge and skills.
 * Supervisory experience or training.

## Description

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

 * Inventing, analyzing and designing complex and innovative analog and digital systems to meet specifications.
 * Leading large projects of high technical complexity and participating in executive project review processes.
 * Leading hardware design design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness.
 * Leading the development of hardware and system level specifications of products for highly complex applications.
 * Writing and reviewing complex test plans, executing or supervising testing, evaluating and reviewing test results for use in peer reviews and for project notebooks.
 * Providing mentorship and coaching to other engineers and technicians.
 * Participating in industry technical meetings, seminars and conferences.
 * Modeling, teaching and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
 * Embracing the mindset: Understand. Create. Simplify.
