## About the Role

* 5-7 years of relevant experience to include, but not limited to:
 + Proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Java, C#, Javascript)
 + Experience translating requirements into technical solutions
 + Experience in research, design, and development of software
 + Experience with testing, deployment, and maintenance
 + Experience developing system specifications and performance requirements
 + Experience with database design and maintenance
 + Experience in code reviews
 + Understanding of system integration (hardware/software interaction)

Clearance Requirement:

 * Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take CI Polygraph
 * Must be a US Citizen

## Description

* Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
 * Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
 * Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
 * May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
 * May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
