Developers perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. This is an on-site role located in Sioux Falls, SD. Responsibilities include: + Work with other developers on projects/tasks that may involve multiple systems interactions and team collaboration to accomplish the desired needs. Projects vary and may be web applications, web APIs, integrations, reports, enterprise application customizations, etc. + Work with internal teams to better understand technology needed to create business process efficiencies. + Collaborate with the team to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize requirements and contribute to designing solution options. + Contribute to designing and delivering quality software application solutions on time. + Serve as a subject matter expert for specific application(s). + Use independent thought, knowledge and judgment of the application to develop and write code to meet requirements for projects, often working in conjunction with more senior developers. + Perform unit tests on code to validate functionality. + Prepare necessary project documentation and deliver the documentation to the project manager and department manager. + Provide development effort estimates for new projects to the business analysts. + Coach and advise junior level software developers by providing knowledge, expertise, guidance and recommendations in activities such as documentation, coding standards and existing business processes. + Work with other developers to define and implement the user experience for new and existing applications.
