Our electronic warfare products generate rich data about the electromagnetic environment - your job is to build the software that moves that data from the system, through backend services, and into the C2 platforms and operator interfaces where it drives decisions. This role sits at the boundary between our embedded systems and the rest of the world. You'll build backend services that ingest, transform, and route data from EW platforms. You'll define APIs and integration points with Lattice OS and external C2 systems. And you'll work across the stack into the UI layer when needed, ensuring that what operators see is accurate, performant, and useful in high-stakes environments. The right person is comfortable working across the full stack but strongest on the backend and systems integration side. You should be able to reason about data pipelines, peer-to-peer architectures, and API design, and be comfortable digging into the frontend when the problem demands it. * Design and build backend services that connect EW system output to C2 platforms, operator interfaces, and the broader Lattice ecosystem * Define and implement APIs and data pipelines that move data from embedded systems through to operator-facing applications * Architect integration points between EW products and external systems, balancing reliability, latency, and security requirements * Contribute to frontend development when needed - building and improving the operator-facing tools and visualizations that surface EW data * Partner with embedded software engineers to define the interfaces between on-platform software and off-platform services * Partner with software engineers across Anduril's C2 software ecosystem to leverage in-house platforms and services, and reinvent fewer wheels * Work directly with end-users and operators to understand how they consume EW data and translate their needs into engineering solutions * Drive technical decisions on service architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns for your area of the stack * Collaborate with mission software, test, and operations teams to ensure systems work reliably across development, test, and operational environments * Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities alongside operators in the field, To ensure your safety and help you navigate your job search with confidence, please keep the following critical points in mind: * No Financial Requests: Anduril will never solicit payment or demand personal financial details (such as banking information, credit card numbers, or social security numbers) at any stage of our hiring process. Our legitimate recruitment is entirely free for candidates. ## Related Videos - [API Design - Getting Started](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/33-api-design-getting-started) - [Rust Beyond Systems: Revolutionizing Web Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1111-rust-beyond-systems-revolutionizing-web-development) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Rest API Antipatterns](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100208-rest-api-antipatterns) - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 131 - AI'm not sure about OSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/472-dev-digest-131-ai-m-not-sure-about-oss)
