## About the Role

* Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
 * Previous experience in a mechanical design role within manufacturing
 * Strong 3D CAD experience (Creo preferred but other leading CAD packages considered)
 * Good understanding of mechanical design principles and hydraulic systems
 * Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
 * Strong problem-solving skills with a practical engineering mindset
 * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
 * A proactive approach and desire to continuously improve products and processes

## Description

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical engineering solutions that deliver high-quality, reliable products for customers worldwide., * Design and develop new products and enhancements to existing machinery

 * Produce 3D models, drawings and engineering documentation using CAD software
 * Support product development from concept through to production
 * Work closely with manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers to improve product performance and reduce production costs
 * Participate in prototype development, testing and product validation
 * Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, quality requirements and safety regulations
 * Investigate and resolve technical issues and customer feedback
 * Provide technical support to production, aftersales and dealer networks
 * Keep up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies and competitor products
 * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing
