## About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality conveyor systems and products. Strong attention to precision and efficiency utilising CAD software and engineering principles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in Design to develop their skills within a dynamic environment., * Proven experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and CAD drafting techniques at least 4 years experience.

 * Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, system design.
 * Ability to capture and specify the design requirements.
 * Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.
 * Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively within conveyor systems.
 * Conveyor knowledge relevant to product development or industrial applications is highly desirable.
 * Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
 * Improve existing products and processes.
 * Driving Licence.

 * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 * Strong PC Skills
 * To work as part of a team or under your own initiative
 * Good time keeping
 * Able to work under pressure with time sensitive projects.

## Description

* Develop detailed designs and specifications for conveyor systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Autocad
 * Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within existing systems and propose effective solutions.
 * Produce models/drawings to meet customer requirements, while adhering to any relevant standards.
 * Producing any manuals or documentation required.
 * Obtaining quotes and ordering of all required parts needed within required time scales.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
 * Support the realisation of projects from concept through prototyping to final implementation, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
