## About the Role

* Proven experience building modern, scalable web interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript and HTML/CSS
 * Strong knowledge of HTML5, React 16+, TypeScript 4+, JavaScript ES6 and JSX
 * Experience delivering consistent UX and UI across browsers
 * Familiarity with component libraries such as Material UI or Ant Design
 * Hands on experience creating automated tests using tools such as Selenium or Cypress
 * Proficiency with build tools such as Webpack or Vite
 * Understanding of performance optimisation and web security best practice
 * Strong grasp of the full SDLC, from design and development through to QA and support

Desirable / Nice to Have:

 * Experience using Figma for design mock ups and collaboration
 * Exposure to financial or trading platforms
 * Experience with AWS, C# and relational databases

This role suits an engineer who is passionate about front end engineering, enjoys mentoring others and thrives in a fast paced, innovative setting., * Collaborate with Solution Architects and Principal Engineers to design and implement front end solutions aligned to the wider IT strategy

 * Own engineering deliverables end to end, ensuring quality, usability and adherence to best practice
 * Mentor and support team members, building a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
 * Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, frameworks and methodologies
 * Communicate progress clearly and raise impediments early to minimise delivery risk
 * Build modern, scalable and maintainable web interfaces using React, TypeScript and JavaScript
 * Deliver consistent UX and UI across browsers using reusable design patterns
 * Create automated tests across end to end, integration and regression suites
