About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments + At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Science + Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, AI/ML, or related field + Proven experience in applying advanced analytics, Machine Learning, and AI to solve complex problems in Life Sciences. + Strong proficiency in Python and/or R + Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), NLP libraries (Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy), knowledge graphs (Neo4J, Amazon Neptune) and biomedical ontologies. It would be great if you also: + Experience with multi-modal AI (combining -OMICs, imaging, and text). + Familiar with cloud computing and workflow orchestration tools. + Understand Life Sciences concepts (genomics, proteomics, clinical data). + Applied your skills in the context of human disease and drug discovery research + Experience with large-scale omics datasets and data integration. + Exposure to knowledge graphs and RAG systems ## Description + Analyze large-scale biological, clinical, and multi-omics datasets to extract biological insights + Develop predictive models for disease progression, drug response, and patient stratification. + Design scalable, reproducible workflows for data processing and model deployment using Python, R, and cloud platforms. + Integrate structured and unstructured data sources for multi-modal analysis. + Build NLP pipelines for entity recognition, ontology mapping, literature mining, and hypothesis generation. + Construct, expand and analyze knowledge graphs using graph representation learning techniques (e.g., GNNs, matrix factorization). + Create interactive visualizations and reports to share your findings with clients and teammates. + Provide technical leadership: mentor teammates, guide best practices, and drive innovation across projects.
