## About the Role

+ 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Cloud Architecture
 + Strong expertise in designing and implementing data platforms on Azure
 + Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
 + Solid background in Data Engineering (batch, streaming, data modeling, pipelines)
 + Proven experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform)
 + Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for data platforms
 + Strong understanding of data platform security (IAM, encryption, governance, compliance)
 + Experience building scalable, cloud-native architectures
 + Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders on technical strategy
 + Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring teams

## Description

As a Data Platform Solution Architect, you will define and lead the architecture of next-generation data platforms on Azure. You will bridge business ambition and technical execution, enabling scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems.
Your responsibilities will include:

 + Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data platforms on Azure
 + Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance for data platforms
 + Architect and optimize data solutions leveraging Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
 + Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)
 + Establish and enforce CI/CD best practices for data and platform deployments
 + Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and compliance
 + Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data architectures
 + Act as a technical reference for Data Engineering and platform-related topics
 + Mentor and guide engineering teams on architecture and best practices
 + Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into the platform strategy
