## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or related technical field
 + 2-3 years of experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
 + Practical knowledge of Azure services: Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks
 + Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling (3NF, ODS, Data Marts)
 + Proficient in SQL for data transformation and analysis
 + Experience with Python (ideally PySpark) and scripting languages such as Bash
 + Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control platforms
 + Basic understanding of Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus
 + Strong communication and collaboration skills
 + Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently

## Description

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Data Engineering Analyst with +2 years of experience to join our international Data and Analytics team based in Barcelona or Madrid., + Interact with senior stakeholders at our clients on regular basis to drive their business towards impactful change

 + Become the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management, and analytics processes.
 + Lead your team in creating the pipeline for Data management, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services, and APIs.
 + Working with Data Scientists to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
 + Become part of a fast-growing international and diverse team

What you will do

 + Contribute to the implementation of the technical roadmap of our clients, aligning with the overall technology and architecture guidelines.
 + Support the development and maintenance of data platforms and pipelines, ensuring technical and non-technical components integrate effectively to meet business needs.
 + Collaborate in the development of digital solutions using Python, Spark, RESTful APIs, and Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
 + Apply best practices and follow established digital frameworks and coding standards to ensure technical consistency.
 + Learn from senior engineers and participate in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously grow your technical skills.
 + Assist in building data insights and analytics components, such as dashboards, data transformations, and integrations, often in collaboration with data science and business teams.
 + Participate in project activities, helping to evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical tasks alongside more experienced team members.
