Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # United Express Manager - **Company:** Market, Inc. - **Location:** Amarillo, TX, United States - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel - **Published:** July 17, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=00bef1e3cab59bd2 ## About the Role * Must be 18 years of age or older. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of one year of retail management experience. * Prior food service management experience, including ordering, shrink control, recipe formation preferred * Prior experience with high volume convenience, food service or fuel gallon sales * Ability to manage large, cross functional teams, and hold individuals accountable * Strong understanding of store level P&Ls, including sales, profit and expense categories * Ability to obtain all certifications necessary and required to handle and sell tobacco, alcohol, fuel, propane, and food service items. * The Department Manager is required to work the scheduled work shift as needed to meet the needs of the store guests and team members. * Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner * Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve and work with minimal supervision * Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking * Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs * Must possess technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, Email). * Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner * Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification * Bilingual English/Spanish a plus * Ability to receive phone calls at home * Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays * Must attend meetings, including out-of-town, requiring overnight stays * Must be able to transfer to another store within the area * Ability to function as a team member and get along with others ## Description The Convenience Manager is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. He/She is responsible for leading the efficient, effective, safe, legal and profitable operations of the Convenience/Fuel Department.
