## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * 4 years of experience working in a consumer electronics technical environment, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
 * Experience in Python, MATLAB, or Perl, with the architectural experience in developing test suites and automating system and hardware validations., * Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
 * Expertise in electrical bring-up and root cause failure analysis for high-volume consumer electronics, with a focus on resolving complex design flaws under timelines.
 * Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) derivation and statistical analysis to drive comprehensive validation plans and optimize hardware performance.

## Description

* Identify coverage gaps between Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and validation plans, partnering with TPMs to ensure all critical development milestones were met on schedule.
 * Define and execute comprehensive Critical User Journey (CUJ) test cases, engineering specialized automation and setups to accelerate validation.
 * Own end-to-end stress testing (Run-in, Rack, OmniMotion), leading initial debugging and root-cause analysis to resolve design flaws early.
 * Replicate complex failures to isolate specific signatures, collaborating across functional teams to mitigate system-level defects and enhance performance.
 * Integrate AI technologies into the validation ecosystem for Google consumer products, significantly advancing test efficiency and overall engineering productivity.
