Strong technical candidates will also be considered. * Experience managing cloud-based and virtualized infrastructure environments. * Demonstrated experience participating in IT operational planning and contributing to strategic objective setting. * Experience working in an Agile application development and project management environment. * Strong understanding of application portfolio management, cost optimization, and technical lifecycleplanning. * Proven ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a high-pressure environment. * Strong project and program management capabilities across varying levels of complexity and duration. * Effective communicator capable of engaging all levels of leadership and navigating sensitive or adversarial situations with professionalism and diplomacy. * Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail and operational discipline. * Knowledge of insurance product development processes, including product configuration, rating, forms, underwriting rules, and the application lifecycle supporting new product and product enhancement initiatives. ## Description The IT Application Manager/Supervisor is accountable for the leadership, stability, performance, and continuous improvement of MMIC's application portfolio, including Guidewire Insurance Now and related integrations. This role provides both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure applications effectively support and enhance business operations. The IT Application Manager/Supervisor leads application development, support, deployment, data administration, and modernization initiatives while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
