## About the Role

We are seeking a US-based Virtual Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with accounting systems, and capable of independently managing client bookkeeping tasks in a remote environment., * Must be based in the United States.

 * Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
 * Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
 * Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (required).
 * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
 * Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
 * Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
 * Associate's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience (5+ years of bookkeeping experience).
 * Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred., * Tax preparation: 2 years (Required)

## Description

The Virtual Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting clients with their ongoing bookkeeping needs., * Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately.

 * Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
 * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
 * Prepare financial statements and bookkeeping reports.
 * Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
 * Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks.
 * Support month-end closing procedures.
 * Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping questions and financial records.
 * Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
