 * Four (4) years of professional social media management experience.
 * Experience creating engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
 * Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and social media management platforms such as Hootsuite.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
 * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments., * Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.
 * Familiarity with local government communications or public sector organizations.
 * Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
 * Ability to create content and video editing.

## Description

* Create and maintain content calendars that keep our messaging organized, timely, and impactful.
 * Monitor and respond to comments, messages, mentions, and community engagement.
 * Analyze social media performance and recommend strategies to increase reach, engagement, and public awareness.
 * Research emerging social media trends, digital tools, and best practices to keep the City's communications innovative.
 * Collaborate with departments across the City to promote programs, services, projects, and community events.
 * Coordinate photography and videography assignments while identifying opportunities for compelling visual storytelling.
 * Support public information efforts during high-profile events, City initiatives, and emergency communications.
 * Utilize SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics to improve digital visibility.
 * Help strengthen community trust through transparent, engaging, and informative communications.
