Leading a team of engineers and subcontractors, you ensure efficient supervision, safety, and quality for all Technology network activity. Your core operational duties involve the end-to-end management of routine and cyclical works, which includes pre-scouting lane closure areas, inspecting roadside defects to determine exact rectification requirements, and participating in the development of an achievable Annual Maintenance Plan. You ensure sufficient resources are in place to deliver all works safely and on time, while securing all necessary information and raising essential permits prior to commencement. To maintain strict safety compliance, you review, assess, and brief technical method statements, delivering daily shift briefings that outline methodology, hazards, and control measures, followed by detailed end-of-shift debriefs to log lessons learned. You hold accountability for your team's administrative discipline by supporting the use of mobile data devices for accurate record-keeping, raising Subcontractor instructions (SCIs) as required, and updating the Maintenance Management System (MMS) with real time data. Furthermore, you oversee routine vehicle checks, maintain accurate driving records, and manage vehicle or plant defect reporting in strict alignment with Connect Plus Services (CPS) procedures to drive continuous operational improvement and keep the network resilient.
