## About the Role

* Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
 * Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, or automation systems.
 * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
 * Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
 * Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following:

 * PLCs and industrial controls
 * Robotics and automation systems
 * Electrical and electronic systems
 * HVAC/R equipment
 * Pneumatics and hydraulics
 * Mechatronics systems
 * Industrial maintenance and troubleshooting

## Description

Amatrol is seeking an Industrial Automation Support Specialist to provide technical support, field service, and system commissioning for our industry-leading training systems. This role combines customer support, hands-on technical work, and collaboration with our manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure customers receive exceptional service and reliable solutions.

Whether your background is in automation, electrical systems, electronics, HVAC/R, fluid power, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial maintenance, we offer the opportunity to expand your technical expertise while making a real impact.

What You'll Do

 * Deliver technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone, email, and remote support tools.
 * Install, configure, and commission Amatrol training systems at customer locations throughout North America.
 * Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation-related issues.
 * Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
 * Test and evaluate products to ensure performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
 * Document support activities and share technical knowledge that enhances both customer and internal team success.
