This role is well suited for someone beginning their IT career who is dependable, professional, customer-service oriented, and willing to learn in a healthcare environment., High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic understanding of computers, Windows operating systems, printers, networking concepts, and common office software.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous help desk, technical support, or customer service experience.

CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other entry-level IT certification.

## Description

* Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and related hospital technology.
 * Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and in-person support requests in a timely and professional manner.
 * Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network connectivity, printing, and user account issues.
 * Assist with equipment setup, deployment, relocation, replacement, inventory tracking, and asset tagging.
 * Install and update approved software under the direction of IT leadership.
 * Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including preparing equipment and user access.
 * Document issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and equipment changes in the ticketing or inventory system.
 * Support common systems such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, email, printers, and other business applications.
 * Follow IT policies, security procedures, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA-related expectations.
 * Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff, vendors, or leadership as appropriate.
 * Participate in IT projects and other duties as assigned.
