## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure operations.
 * Expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, administration and Cloud Ops.
 * Proficiency with cloud platforms - Azure preferred.
 * Experience with automation tools such as Git Ops, Ansible, Terraform, Claude AI.
 * Familiarity with container orchestration, service mesh technologies, monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus), and logging frameworks.
 * Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
 * Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2).
 * Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures., * Experience in fintech or regulated enterprise environments.
 * Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise networking.
 * Contributions to open-source infrastructure tools or technical publications.
 * Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.

## Description

* Design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
 * Implement automation for system provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
 * Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to ensure secure and compliant system operations.
 * Optimize performance and availability of enterprise systems including compute, storage, and networking.
 * Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
 * Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
 * Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
 * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives.
 * Participate in on-call rotations.
