* Bachelors degree in Project Management or related field.
 * 5+ yrs of recent relevant experience.
 * Preferred certifications: CEH or Cloud+ or CySA+ or PenTest+ or SSCP or Legacy Elastic Certified Engineer or Splunk Core Certified Power User, or LINUX+, LPIC1 or RHCA
 * TS/SCI Clearance

## Description

We are STS Government Solutions (SGS), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently supporting a new mission in San Antonio, TX and seeking additional team members to join our team. SGS is seeking a Systems Engineer II for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

What You'll Do:

 * Oversees engineering activities of an organization's information systems.
 * Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
 * Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements.
 * Defines system and product requirements; and generates mechanical, electrical, and software performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
 * Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution.
 * Manages and documents system configurations, and oversees all transitions into production.
 * Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and performs post project end user support.
